Price Johnson
Dallas attorney, Price L. Johnson is licensed by the Texas Supreme Court, the State Bar of Texas, and is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas. He is admitted to practice in all federal courts in Texas and the Fifth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals. He is a member of the American Bar Association’s Tort and Insurance Practice Section, the State Bar of Texas Insurance Litigation Section, and the Dallas Bar Association Business Litigation Section where he served as Director from 2001-2005 and the Tort & Insurance Practice Section where he served as Chair in 2004 and again in 2005.
Mr. Johnson is also a licensed C.P.A. having been licensed in Texas since 1991.
As an active member of the several local, state, and national attorney associations, Price Johnson serves as Director of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association and has served as chair of the Dallas Bar Association Tort & Insurance Practice Section, Director of the Business Litigation Section, and served as lead Co-Chair of the Bench/Bar Committee, Judiciary Committee Bench Book Subcommittee, and the Media Relations prestigious Philbin Awards Committee and the Law Day Committee. In 2002 the Dallas Bar Association presented him with the coveted Jo Anna Moreland Outstanding Committee Chair Award for his role in raising more than $125,000 for Legal Services of North Texas to provide legal services to the poor. Price was also honored by Trial Lawyers for Public Justice in 2004 for representing victims of the 9/11 World Trade Center attack where he recovered over $1.5 million for one victim he represented, charging no fee for his services.
Price received his law degree cum laude from Baylor University School of Law with a concentration in civil litigation. He graduated in the top 10% of his class. He served as both Symposium Editor and Notes & Comments Editor of the Baylor Law Review. He also represented Baylor Law School at both the National and American Bar Association Moot Court Competitions as a member of both Baylor's Moot Court Teams. Price earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Texas at Arlington. He is licensed by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant.
Upon graduating law school he worked for a large Dallas based law firm, Hughes & Luce, L.L.P., where he honed his litigation skills representing individuals and corporations in lawsuits. Now he devotes his skills to representing businesses in commercial litigation disputes and representing individuals that have been injured by the negligence of corporations and others in personal injury cases.
Price represents individuals injured by defective products, nursing home negligence, professional malpractice, and in elevator, auto, motorcycle, truck, and train accidents.
